Imagine the controversy of the move to Redfern!

Heady days, blood on their hands!

I bet they had to build a host of facilities, I wonder how they afforded it?

Did admission prices have to rise? Did they sell more caps or ties?

Seems the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Our ancestors as fans, how did they feel?

And at the top of the Premiership tree are we.

Theyve had 40 years to knock us off that pedestal. Thats a fair proportion of 100 years..How much longer do they need?!

And I wanna see a bit more distance between us and the others before I'm passing the ball to the little master!

They call us 'arrogant' these days....supporting the greatest club in the league...that is our fugging divine right!

These low-brow souths-knocking sharman..they deadset hate the idea of another golden rabbitoh era.

Their fathers and grandparents would have told them what life is like under SOUTH SYDNEY rule.

And in their black hearts, they are scared witless.

BTW what is our question?!

What year did Souths Leagues Club first close?

1970.

Dave's Quick Quickies:

Who is the heaviest player in the current rabbitoh squad?

Who is Jamie Simpson?

Yileen Buddy Gorden has probably played more first grade than any other player of his age. How many games has he played? what is his date of birth? What year did he debut in first grade for Souths? There was a rumour a few years ago that another club was desperately seeking his services. Select that club from one of these: Bulldogs? Brisbane? North Queensland? Eels?

Buddy started playing for us in 2005 and has played about 30 games in first grade.
3/4/87 and I'm pretty sure the Bulldogs was after him.
