Lol@toovey, seriously that is embarrassing from him. No wonder the manly players whine like stuck pigs when you look at their role model!

Toovs the reason it wasn't a try is because there is no longer benefit of the doubt and there isn't 100% conclusive evidence to overturn the rf, I think it is a brilliant rule change compared to the iascos of last year. You think head coAches would know the rules?

Ps the penalty count was 4-3 in the second half when you lost the game!

i'm confused... how was this was not a try?

f**k it's a try for all money. You can clearly see the ball hit the line and slide over. It wasn't even close to being held up. What the f**k were the video refs looking at?

Ball grounded before the line, then is hidden from view, then is clearly held up over the line. It almost certainly did touch the line, but that cannot be seen, hence no conclusive evidence of a try.

I thought Toovey was tame - just pissed off (I wish my coach showed that kind of passion).

Careful Souths fans, you and Manly will both be there in Week Two of the Finals when winning actually counts for something.

Manly have been doing "the Finals thingo" for quite a few years now...

The penalty count was 9-3 at the 72 minute,Souths had skipped away before Manly got their last 2 penalties,no surprise considering who they were playing.

You'd think by now these thick merkins would get that wouldn't you? But everyone seems refs to rule on what might have happen as opposed to what they saw happen.

Huh? I agree with the ruling! I don't agree with the flailing imbeciles saying that Perenara should've awarded it because "it must have hit the ground!". THEY'RE the ones wanting the refs to assume shit as opposed to ruling on what they saw. Until it happens against their team I suppose, then they'll go apeshit.

You've just described what happens with supporters from every club whenever something contentious pops up. Why are you surprised it's happening now?

The only thing that can be seen touching the line is the arm carrying the ball. For some unknown reason, this is not regarded as a try. It should be, in my view. With the rules as they stand, there is no vision of the ball itself touching the ground on or over the line.
