While other clubs have been basically forced only to upgrade what they had the Dogs have so far signed 6 players for next year with another 3 possibles . They also have a top notch pack of young Dogs coming through e.g. KITE , BARBA , IDRIS ,FAWCETT, HARRISON , TALA, PURE . They have also a lot of outstanding even younger players below them . It was always was going to be a transition year . No -one could have foreseen 20 long term and season ending injuries . Todd Greenberg seems to be a no bull type of CEO and I will be very surprised if the major sponsor is not sorted out before the end of the year . Apart from Melbourne the competition is very even and it is about time the NRL put Melbourne on the same salary capaseveryone else insted of getting unwarranted concessions which has enabled them to do whatever they want player wise .
