Gytrash is the one who has drawn well that handles the the wet, I’ve been all over Masked Crusader but not sure on him on a Heavy track but with so much pace on up front you’d have to think a swooper wins this.

Same thoughts Home Affairs is the wildcard

NS the third, those are the 3 on a wet track for me

I’m going to wait and see how the track is playing for the Everest. I’ve had a chub for Masked Crusader for a while and did have a few small bets early doors but he was spanked by Eduardo and NS a couple of starts ago.

He can absolutely turn that around but will want a dry track and it to be playing fairly. My other concern is getting so far back against this class of horse makes it impossible to win sometimes, he needs to pozzy in a half decent position then unleash.

Have MC in 1 multi but that’s it
Can he be trusted to jump with them & find a slightly better position? Can’t be certain of that, his habits often work against him.
Big plus is that he isn’t drawn along the fence.

Really like Young Werther tomorrow at Caufield, probably the only bet I will have there, that track needs to be ripped up.

Home Affairs hasn't even seen a heavy track, or won over 1200m
And if tries to match motors with Nature Squib or Eduardo he’ll get chewed up and spat out. Probably the unders in this race for mine. Watch Waller make an idiot out of me again the merkin.

Home Affairs has got none.

I think people are giving it more credit than it deserves because it’s trained by C.Waller, it pinched a cheap win first up in an average race, form prior was average.

Watch it bolt in now

I thought YYY was unders 2 years ago lol

It smashed paulele who came out and bolted in next start. That’s why some people have a chub for it. Paulele would get lapped in this

I’m gunna say it, I reckon this is the shittest rendition of The Everest there has been so far.

Don’t get me wrong it’s still a good and interesting race but have a look at the year Yes Yes Yes won it, now that was a cracking race…Ten Sovereigns ran last and he was the champ sprinter in Europe, Arcadia Queen ran second last and at the time she looked like she was going to be anything (time proved she wasn’t a sprinter) but still those two added a lot of intrigue. First to last was like 5 lengths.

This time round we have Embracer, Plod and Running and Trekking gets into the race with a pensioner discount
