Semi's dropped ball in final was a bit of a negative.BA has to teach him that you MUST put the ball down.

I thought Vai and Cornish really stood up as well.

I sledged the shit out of Vai but he was great on day two. Great team effort even if all the praise is going to a few.

Just on Bevan, there was a small opportunity for the Warriors heading right to left off the back of some second phase with the ball coming to Hurrell on the left touch line and quick as anything Bevan had anticipated and driven him with a good waist tackle to shut it down.

Obviously had he held the line Hurrell likely steam rolls him but it was a note worthy piece of defense.

Sack the Board! Sack the plumber! Get rid of DA/BA!

Oh wait.... :)

Great to stand up and win though a competition like this, with no injuries . Will be a great confidence booster for 2016, in a joint that needs it.

He had some good individual tackles.

if he isn't going to beat a player over a weekend of nines though he probably never will.

Yes, you're right on that account. Unless we play the Sharks...who seem to like letting him do the Neil Hunt right foot step and run past them.

Just saw ch 9 sports section. Parra was not mentioned but Buhrer sent for scans was???

Injuries that will affect the season will always be the story from the practice season.

Glad we won it and cane through relatively unscathed. Will build some confidence.

Why would we be playing our long term fullback on the wing??? French should be starting the season at Wenty in the 1 jersey.

Did you read what BA said? That FRENCH WILL NOT PLAY FIRST GRADE THIS YEAR.

French will start the year in under 20's at fullback. Moss was also a prodigy in under 20's. Has spent the last two season hit with injuries. More ready then French so Moss gets first drop. ( thou Gutherson would prob be first drop with morgan or Toutai recalled)

I noticed with one of Semi's tries rather than put the ball down one handed like he was all last year, he brought the ball to his chest and had hold of it with both hands so it seems to be something that has been worked on
