Dukey111 with another astute observation... Semi has certainly struggled to get the ball over yte stripe in his career thus far :crazy:

I am always looking for ways that you can improve . Perhaps your happy with 8/10 but if you be a 9 or a 10 why not reach for it?

Semi has a few times butchered tries with the way he carries the ball or attempted to put it down.Luckily it is an easy fix and something he should do to improve his game and make him a little safer.

Now smart ass i was not saying Semi is not a great player he is but he still is not perfect and that is one of his weakness.

Did you read what BA said? That FRENCH WILL NOT PLAY FIRST GRADE THIS YEAR.

French will start the year in under 20's at fullback. Moss was also a prodigy in under 20's. Has spent the last two season hit with injuries. More ready then French so Moss gets first drop. ( thou Gutherson would prob be first drop with morgan or Toutai recalled)

Well you can thank the bloke who discovered Bevan French, Semi and Mau... The same bloke stichted up Junior Paulo and Tepai to long term deals when they were young but apparently wasn't good enough to keep his job here...

Avoiding serious injuries to key players asides the most pleasing thing for me it that we executed the game plan almost to the letter in a big time game. New Zealand had weapons across the park and we contained them with outstanding tempo control in defence.

Ideal way to get the business part of the pre-season kick started. Bring on the Alice Springs (NRL) and Newcastle (NSW Cup, Holden Cup) trials!

Liked what I saw today from Mitch Cornish, Cameron King and David Gower. Gower is an excellent 9 player.

Bevan needs 5 kgs....Moss will play first grade before . Bevan for 2017.

I'm inclined to agree. But Moss has proven he is very injury prone, and of the two only French is contracted beyond this year.

Interesting point made by BA, the forwards and "D" won the tournament and Terepo was enormous.

I def see his point but players like King and Gower got thru a glut of work. Did King play every minute?

According to reports Pedro Folau only strained a hammy and Mau had a knock on the knee and probably could of played the final but BA decided against it... Smart move imo

Btw, why the f**k would you throw Johnson back on the pitch on 1 leg? How desperate were the Warriors to win the thing?

I'm no expert in player development and BA obviously knows his shit with how he managed polar last year but I'd throw Bev the Wenty jersey and I'd keep him there for a chunk of the year....

He needs to start playing against men in the real stuff in my opinion.

i think its impossible to get 100% strike rate when you're trying to identify some rough diamonds, from memory Lorenzo Maafu is one bloke I'm sure there's a few more out there
