How many players outside the top 30 do you reckon will play first grade? This year there were four of them, including Moretti who played half a season. Don't worry about the bottom of the top 30 or otherwise. If they're on the books then they're in the squad.

Moretti being on a development deal is related to him not performing prior to this year. It's not the recruitment team's fault. Those four you've named all outplayed him in 2021 and 2022 when current contracts would've been signed.
