St George pathway needs change.

Now that the nrl team has changed staff.
The St george coaching staff from Harold Mathews up to SG ball also needs a clean out .
I see that W Talau is SG ball coach and now helping the nrl team wonder why we are going so badly in junior pathway players stepping up to nrl level. Dragons need to bring in legend players like M Cooper M Gasnier B Morris and others to coach juniors defence is our weakness at the club .

You do realise that Matts and Ball are 9 week comps only?? Willie Talau has been a breath of fresh air for Saints. He’s got some young fellas coming along nicely

Was jersey flegg coach and was demoted to SG Ball this season.
Players have previously left the club on his coaching structures.
Has no people skills the SG Ball team again didn't improve with his coaching on this season.
Only a couple of juniors have been upgraded on own ability .

Why is it so difficult for the Dragons to invest the proper resources into pathways, just because we are getting a COE that alone isnt going to do anything unless you have the right people to go with it. FFS we are just about the biggest nursery in the land and our development of our juniors is woeful. When are the Dragons going to wake the F%$K up and realise this is our future. How many imports do penrith have, and they just keep producing great juniors. Why cant we have owners that are actually passionate about the club instead of the ones we never see and couldnt give a flying F$#K about anything that resembles a footy club called the Dragons. We need our junior pathways on both sides St george and Illawarra to combine .
Just like we did years ago when we had Illawarra cutters and st george playing in nsw cup.
That is why we start from the juniors and play as Dragons not st george playing against Illawarra in Sg ball and Harold mathews.

No funding with st george pathways illawarra has all the support and funds .
Dont blame pritchard if he has no organisation willie T sg ball coach should be next out of the club completely .

Well that's just not true. Talau has been the SG Ball coach for St George for one season, and it was their best season in a long long time. Not to mention the amount of imports they brought in to play for St George this year due to their lack of actual quality juniors. Tonga, Pauli, Latu, Gyemore to name a few. If that isn't funding, I'm not sure what is. There was an improvement this year in St George SG, and a decline in Illawarra. Give it time, they're improving those pathways and getting in players from outside the St George catchment. Thank god Russ Aitken is gone so that Illawarra might have a chance to showcase their potential next season
