but the drunk was so happy to have him.

after getting rid of brett morris then signing hunt and corey norman he said the team is finally complete in his mind. they then went on to finish 15th and 12th before he was finally sacked, 6 years too late.

.
He was 83 minutes away from a grand final

Remember that other game, we were on the attack and need a try to win. Comes up to the last tackle of the game and he feeds it to a forward for a hit up.
Save me.

How does the NRL Cap auditor sign off on Hunts deal at a reported $550k per year when his previous wage was $1M at the Steelers?

Because only the drunk Steeler valued him so highly. No other team would touch him at that price. That drunk paid a hefty price for Corey Norman as well so I wouldn't be judging any valuation by that drunk.

Irrelevant thread now, but I'm real interested in what Broncos fans think of this signing... well those without PTSD anyway.

At 600k, he's almost the perfect signing for us.

We got a future rep hooker in the wings (however he's barely played a dozen games), we got a future rep 5/8 (however he likes to drive on the wrong side of the road). We've also got a halfback who is struggling to stay fit. He covers all 3.

I also think this is something Ben Hunt has wanted to do ever since 2015, there wouldn't be a day in his life where he isn't reminded of the fact he dropped the ball in golden point of a Grand Final, on his own line. He essentially gave them a penalty kick, in soccer terms. I think he will be in a great space, he doesn't need to pull out the circus tricks, we've got a pretty good roster. It makes sense for everyone.

Dragons fans will be salty, they're entitled to be. They paid him a million dollars a year, went through multiple coaches, they gave him the keys to the castle. He didn't really live up to his end of the agreement though. Barely got them into a finals series from memory.
