I'm literally trying to listen to every Rumour their is, because so many contradict each so what eventually happens in the movie will be somewhat of a surprise (unlike the latest avengers movie which was totally spoilt by the Internet)

Windu was a terrible character so it would be pointless for Abrams to make a connection. Plus I'm betting we don't really hear many connections relating back to the prequels besides Vader and Palpatine.

So I've seen that this Friday is "Force Friday", Star Wars Force Awakens toys become available.
I work at an airport loading planes and today I loaded a box which had written on the outside "Wait! Do not open until Sept 4th" and had Disney on it also. I am thinking it was advertising for the toys with possible 1st look at some characters on them.
Soooooo tempted to just open the box to have a look at it. Unfortunately there were witnesses.

The first time ever in the history of Star Wars that Harrison Ford gets billed higher than Mark Hamill. And no Luke on the poster? Interesting. On the other hand we get our first look at Maz Katana and the Starkiller base.

Also interesting that Michael Arndt still has a writing credit.

I think that even though the books are no longer canon that this flick will still borrow from them some what. The Jedi twins Jaina and Jacen Solo are replaced by Rey and Kylo Ren for the new series of films and Rey has to redeem her fallen brother in the way Luke Skywalker helped Darth Vader bring the Force back in to balance.
