100% if the brawl was on the field.. I get that there would be serious penalties.. but the brawl was in the reserve bench area.. ofcourse they are involved.. Burton got a bluddy fine.. hes a pacifist who was just holding players apart..

Obviously they just want to send a message to the public.. but I thought the way no journos are articulating that this happened off the field is crazy.
I thought the NSW bench was not in that area as Cam Murray ran from a distance to get involved (as you would) but bench getting / officials involved is a big no-no in any level NRL especially when it moved back in field of play. Burto might of been hanging around that vicinity at the time. Obviously QLD bench did not got involved when it moved on the field

Why is Cam Murray getting suspended? Half the QLD bench got involved too? Also what the f**k did you expect him to do? Just stand there and watch as those cowards 10 v 2d Luai and Bizza? Also Haumole (2-3 match suspension) just helped separate everyone - something Klein couldn't f**ken do

Imo, if anyone went to the bin it should've been Luai, Cherry Evans and Nanai. Even tho DCE started the whole thing the long necked merkin.

Him and Billy's crying about the refs was laughable also. Rub of the green? I'll tell you what rub of the green sounds like:

- Walsh staying on for a kick to the head
- Capewell staying on for something RTS got binned for
- Walsh putting a foot out and it not getting called
- Half a dozen escorts on Lomax
- Carrigan and Cotter taking naps in the ruck and slowing down the play the ball
- Constant late shots on Moses
- Cotter doing about 50 grapple tackles - i.e. the exact thing Crichton got penalised for in game 2
- f**kface Klein asking for a review for a possible penalty try when the Blues get a break upfield.

Just take the loss and shut up.
Cam ran from a distance (warm up bike orbench) and him and Ok when onto the field of play. Obviously QLD bench did not to the same extreme. 9 players in total got charged. Who bloody knows but well done for sticking up for your mates NSW. The pack of dogs got in first in droves.

Huge congratulations & wraps must go to Madge Maguire for what he’s bought to this Origin series.
He has made some very bold selection decisions and really moulded & united this group into a special team.

Many of his ideas have been different, but he has been driven in tapping into the former Blues greats to inspire.

I loved his post game media interview and the wrap he gave JTurbo as the Captain & leader on & off the field as a person of great character that the team loved. Minimal minutes on the field, but maximum affect off.

What about the blatant knock on from the Hammer when Lomax knocked it back from contesting and catching the bomb. They had the rub of the green in the 2nd half so much so I thought they were going to win it that way as it was obvious.

Agree but the players take a bow. What about when Latrell comes back in. One back has to go and could be Lomax as Crichton can slot on the wing and is a better player?..back 5 Edwards, Too, Crichton, Lattrell & Best or can Best only play one side?. What about if T Turbo gets back to Top form next year.
Its great to have these worries as a Dragon supporter... oops... NSW

The true qld spirit comes out when they lose, bunch of fkn cry babies. All their fans left early too & just wait for the media, ex players to turn on them. It will be sooo fkn sweet to watch. Dumb merkin picks kafusi to play 10mins but leaves out fifita.

What I see the difference between Madge and Freddy is Freddy was likely too flighty and fruity and the players reflect their coach. Freddy is no doubt a smart football reader of the game and a legend player and knows origin but his style of passion obviously did not rub off on the troops to get down and dirty in the trenches like they showed this year.

It became more about freddy rather than the team, also no one wants to do fkn earthing or whatever hippy shit he was into. His selections were cooked & tactics were poor. Madge backed in his power & defensive style then adjusted accordingly throughout the series. A prime example is Barnett for Haumole since Martin & Angus were playing long mins which reduced Haumole's role.

I dont think Freddy has the skillset for coaching.. i think he floats around life, hes reactive, hes a media personality...obviously a genius player, but I dont think he has the strategic head for it.

Something little I noticed after last nights game, gould, freddy & fatty were on the panel.. the question came up about where parra would play lomax.. and fittler almost emotionally blew up 'surely its on the wing' as if how could you ask the question, and gould was discussing that either position was possible.. I mean maybe freddy was right... but it was just a little thing, but hes reactive.. im not sure how much longterm vision he has.

I must say though, we did only win that series in the last 20 minutes of game 3.. and there were a few close calls.. not to mention we almost had murray sent off (ref apparently said he was going to on comms), if we had lost that last 20 minutes, we might not be feeling as rosey about Maguire as a coach.

They were mentioning on Triple M the other week that the QRL has some control over what Qld the media say about the Origin team. Essentially their message is to back the team no matter what. Which is why you don't see the media criticise Slater or the team selections up there.

All well and good when you've had the squads they've been blessed with over the past 15-20 years who can win games/ series and gloss over any areas for concern. But moving forward, it's NSW who have the depth and the Maroons who are looking light on in some areas, and NSW have been winning the junior contests as well.

Potentially interesting times ahead for relations between the QRL, Qld media and the public if the Origin team isn't stringing wins together like they've grown accustomed to...

There are many ifs and buts TheRev in most games. Thank goodness the good ones helped us in the end in last night's decider. NSW were the victors and they cannot take that away from this State. I don't want to take anything away from all the gallantry of our players and the good coaching of Madge in this series.

Guaranteed no one gets suspended if it’s game one or two. The nrl just use their players for their own financial gain. Now that the series is done they want to punish them. Whole thing should be ignored.

NSW series win in game 2 2018 under Fittler was as good as last night. Winning after coming from behind and holding out with a man in the sin bin and the captain out with concussion with a very inexperienced team was as gutsy as anything I’ve seen in origin. Even though we lost, the decider in 2022 was a very tough effort. Freddy just cops it to hard for mine. Sure you can criticise some things he did but he still won back to back series, won a decider, got us to score 76 points in 2 games in 2021 (despite my bitterness towards that year) and blooded the players who went on to do some great things at rep level with some still doing so.
