I said before that we are in a current NRL weak era. If Penrith is so special like everyone claims then we should have won this series easily. Yet we’ve lost 2 of the last 3 series since Penrith started dominating. They have a lot of above average players but not “superstars” like everyone keeps saying. In fact I would say Turbo and Latrell papered over a lot of the cracks of the current NSW teams. Without them this team is obviously nothing special.

We also missed Wighton imo.

It’s pretty pointless dissecting the game position by position IMO. NSW were out-enthused, out-paced and out-smarted. Their line speed and gang tackling, was far superior. Like us vs Dogs a few weeks go, Qld just wanted it more.

I would hope coaches dissect the game position by position as that’s what goes into sections. Perhaps this is BA’s approach, it would certainly make some of his dreadful team selections make sense.

Hindys point is fine. Burton got exposed at centre tonight. He has half abilities and has been solely in that role for almost a whole season now, giving no thoughts about centre stuff. He can play centre, but there are better options. Surely NSW is heading down a path of Burton #6 and Cleary #7

Yes. Luai is just a jack rabbit. He isn't origin level and Wighton would be better there. Turbo and Latrell back to centre in 23.

Exactly, he was great in game 2 when queensland rolled over and gave zero f**ks .... but in a real game he struggled

Good point. I avoided the whole post-game crap by switching off after Benny's try. Johns didn't have that luxury.
