I say give it a go. Thaw one properly, place upside down on a paper towel and wrap it, then turn right side up and nuke till hot.

It's true, I haven't tried slow warming. But it was better than cooking according to the instructions.

I've microwave pies too but never a thawed one. I think that's what made the difference.
