I don't think it's a hating NZ thing. The Kiwis haven't played for 3 years. The allure of SOO is just greater. Better money, more exposure, more games, I can see why anyone would go for it. The NZRL can do all they want, but there's not much of a carrot for them to dangle.

To play Origin they have to get there in their early teens and between then and when they play senior footy they're going to Origin camps etc. It sucks but it is what it is. We should definitely do the NZ version of 501 them though if they try to get back into the country. Choosing to play for Australia should definitely be a fail on the good character test.
