Establishes Women's Origin as a prestigious high-rating event on the calendar. Ought to be valuable as regards the profile and remuneration the players deserve.

Perhaps the one cavil is to wonder whether QRL could be doing more to galvanize a Matildas-esque demographic at Suncorp. Comparable NSWRL efforts at Allianz in a fortnight will provide more context.
