NSW were not on tonight. They looked disorganised and just not on the same page. Very different to the first 2 games Maybe it was the filth from QLD, maybe it was taking the foot off the pedal after having the series wrapped up, but they were not great

The 2017 Anzac Test in Canberra was one of the games that first got me interested in Women's RL.

Isabelle Kelly made her Jillaroos debut, scoring the opening try. She collected a Kiwi Ferns kick, ran over the top of a defender and had a clear run to the line. Put-down was firm and clean. Shades of Mal Meninga.

28-year-old Isabelle would be well-advised to check out the grounding technique of 20-year-old Isabelle.

Probably needed some changes to the side as some looked tired. Hopefully the Australian hooker is selected next time.

So many stars of the future and imminent NRLW '25 season.
Last year's 46-4 result was probably a more accurate reflection of relative pathway standards than the closer games of previous years.

BTW, the 2019 under-18s fixture at North Sydney is not included in stats on the NRL site. Several "stars of the future" were in the NSW line-up. Olivia Kernick, Jaime Chapman, Caitlan Johnston. A clip of the Teagan Berry intercept try went viral on SM. The halfback was Tiana Graham. Real talent from WA. Where is she now?

I'm expecting the score line to be similar or even higher.

Unfortunately it appears that the QRL have no plan in place to have a city vs country trial for the U19 Women like NSW have. This would give more talent a chance to fight for their selection in the final QLD team.

They ran an u17s CvC back in April. Unsure why they didnt do an u19s as well
