The problem was said by the commentators Daley has a plan A when that goes wrong he is lost. The losing games previous was explained. Y QLD had a dynasty no one would beat them.Fast forward a few years same result but a far inferior QLD team

I love our penrith boys but at this elite level you can’t have Edwards and Yeo ball playing.
This must be done by the halves .At times there seems to be confusion across the park where the ball was going. You also need a creative dummy half Robson is a good solid player but we need to change this area to gives us a third point of attack
And last but not least picking players with injuries it used to be you had 2 days upon entry to origin camp to face a passing of a injury test fail you where out not any more it seems under Daley
Perhaps parra is due to get a new coach send Daley there or better still Perth with his buddy meninga
Craig Bellamy was coaching

Yep. His reputation among non-Panthers fans is basically Mitchell Pearce with a bigger chin. He was worse than terrible last night - he was completely anonymous. To be terrible, he would have needed to actually try something and have it fail. That said, I'll take the five Grand Finals in a row over a couple of decent performances three games a year.

So would I he'll always be a legend to me but like you said outside the panthers is another story.

Cleary just cant make it origin - but he's better than Pearce - Queensland were flawless last night - does Joey, Moses, Fittler etc change that result? im not so sure - Queensland were outstanding.

that said - keep piling the shit on nathan - he'll keep those receipts for the rest of the season :)

Cleary and Luai were terrible no doubt. Daley is a woeful coach, NSWRL need to f**king get our of that 90s olds boys club. they need someone who has been involved coaching recently as the head of a club side like Madge or a player who has retired in the last 10 years.

Daley is never gonna be a coach, only his mates and NSWRL can get him a job.

Craig Bellamy was coaching

Hard to believe that.

I've never seen a Melbourne Storm side defend with that lack of effort. Melbourne have also shown they can change up their plans mid-game when things aren't working too.

Ivan didn't coach NSW last year either.

Craig has never achieved anything without cheating and Cam Smith

Last night had the hallmarks of a Laurie Daley coached team. Eerily similar to what we have seen in the past.

Cheating cap or not I've never seen a Melbourne Storm team play like that. Lack of effort and an inability to adapt to the situation are not things you associate with Bellamy.

So the point stands. That wasn't a Craig Bellamy coached side. Likewise the 2024 blues were not an Ivan Cleary coached side.

Halves were dreadful. Luai actively poor but at least went after the game, Cleary defended well but barely fired a shot. The forward pack was atrocious though and QLD were fantastic. They won the ruck, they kicked well, scrambled well and they held the ball. No I don't think Johns/Fitler would have changed much playing behind a pack that was trounced. Edwards and To'o made almost as many metres as the entire NSW pack, starting and bench.

I think next year the spine needs to be Pap/Cleary/Moses/Api/Murray with Yeo at prop. The rigid Panther structure doesn't work against 17 guys with elite fitness, discipline. If the coach can't get that Panther spine to play a different system, the pivot point needs to change to Moses with the other guys fitting around him.

I thought Robson was good but Watson offers little. Time to get Kenny in.

LOL, non-Panthers Blue fans blame 'too many Panthers and ex-Panthers' when we lost in 2022 and 2023 and now you want to shoehorn in another one?

Kenny would be a bit like Edwards - Good with the Panthers and meh at rep level.

Theres no way you don't understand it. If he wants to be seen with the guys like Lockyer and Johns he needs to also do it in origin. Thats how rugby league works like it or not. Right now hes just a great club half. I have all the love in the world but it's the facts
What had those players achieved at his age??
You are reading way too much into the idiotic media and not looking at facts.
