I’m all for loyalty for guys that have done it before but picking Cleary over the in form & experienced Reynolds (or :flag_td:) was just plain stupid.

We are mad if he’s not dropped.

They need halves which can create something. So that obviously leaves Chad Townsend out. Hooking Walker was a joke the whole interchange was a disaster, and putting in out of form players like Angus killed them

It was fast and I thought a great spectacle. Warning though , they are building a spine ,Munster , Pongia, DCE. The future looks bleak and Keary and Cleary are not the answer.

Graham will add about 20% to the Blues attack when they are ready to have him back again, even when they stuff around and play him from the bench instead of taking Plodners starting spot.

If they ate humble pie about Fifita and let him play 2 games that would add another 10%. Blues with those 2 in would have more strike power than the Queenslanders. It won't happen though. NSW likes toilers and plodders up front, and rookies who look good in patches at the back.

I couldn’t believe how easily the nsw forwards were dominated

It wasn’t a fair contest

It was a bunch of ordinary blokes verses a pack that would do anything to win

NSW had no line speed or hitting power up front. Apart from Klemmer they didn't go forward.

All NSW have got is Cook and Tedesco. The gameplan plays to them and expects nothing from the half back because he gives them nothing.

The most telling comment was Tedesco saying NSW didn't want it enough. That is an indictment on them as individuals and their leadership.

Surely Townsend is better than a half picked to just kick and tackle.

No way Cleary gets dropped. Dad is locked in with Freddy. It's all politics in selections. They know he isn't performing. They reduced his role last series and this series to accommodate his deficiences.

It's tough on the kid to get dropped but it's harder on the squad to play with a 7 who is sub standard.

Walker will be sacrificed which is ordinary. He wasn't great but created more than the annointed one
