Give the guy a chance,
For mine, Warriors are in a hiatus year & Kearney has to steer them through it. A bunch of guys off-contract, some to keep, some to recruit, and some to let go...Kearney will know what he wants for 2018.
First up is culture (he resurrected the Kiwis based on that remember?) and those that have trouble dealing with that will be weeded out.
Next I reckon will be everyone playing as a team, doing their job for the benefit of the whole team...with a big emphasis on defending (ask Storm how you win games and remain a successful top 8 side).
When those things are in place it allows individuals to play to their strengths and skills more because the trust is there that 9 times out of 10 you're covered in defence and support play. That's when the Warriors will be able to play how we all know they can & to their advantage over many teams - but it can't be 100% of the game every game - where has that got them so far?
It's not rocket science but for some who can't get over themselves it will be a step too far. This might take all of this year and a bit of next & Kearney will be looking for replacements for sure.

Heard something about the Warrior's that flabbergasted me - the new kid on the block gets the same rewards (gear, privileges etc) as the long-term players. As an example only, when Lolohea started he gets the same privileges as Simon Mannering after his 10 years of great service. No wonder there's an attitude, a sense of entitlement - what the hell do they have to work hard for if they already think they've made it? Beggars the mind but guess that comes with being the only act in town. The hierachy has a lot to answer for if its true.
The good thing is I think Kearney will make them work for what they get (the Bellamy way) or they'll be down the road, but changing that attitude will take some time and some big changes imo.

I know you guys are long-suffering and running out of patience but I reckon it'll be another year or so before the Warriors have the foundation to be a regular contender rather than a flukey, sometime one. Cleary almost got there but didn't finish the job. Like I said, give Kearney a chance

Good post and I am sure you are right. The worrying thing for me is he is rewarding half-hearted and inept performances by continuing to select the culprits. (Lolohea and Lisone I am looking at you.)
So much for his "above the line" standards.

Maybe we need a new club motto. The Vodafone Warriors "rebuilding since 1995"

I reckon that's a bit of a forum myth.

Suggest you check out some 2007 highlights. Plus our playoffs runs were often amazing.

Certainly less jungle ball, but we knew how to get points up and more importantly defend them like we mean it. It wasn't the flair of Andersons team but I was still glued every week.

I think he demanded they control the middle first. And then it relied on skill because the edges were short in numbers. Great fundamentalist coach.

There's really bugger all Kearney could be doing with the rubbish propping stocks and outside backs he has. I'll judge him more closely when he has Ben back, has been able to decide who his best wingers are (CNK, Allwood, Ayshford whoever) and hopefully everyone else is fit. Maybe a Bellamy could've unpicked the Dogs with the squad we have, but honestly I think most would be 1-2 with the amount of holes we have and the stench of 2016 still hanging around.
