To suggest the eagles have him on the bench rathan than dropping him because of fan backlash, and not simply because he is coming on fresh and dominating games.

He's getting older and more injury prone, hence the bench decision.

A wise choice by Hasler in my opinion. Better to have a quality player like Menzies coming on and playing 60 minutes etc and missing the opening exchanges than having him sitting in the medical ward.

Some injuries ? FFS the bloke rarely played NRL footy at all, he was probably the greatest crock in the history of the game. But when he played, which was extremely rarely if ever, then yep he was great :roll:
