The South Sydney Rabbitohs are excited to announce the signing of young outside back Steven Marsters for the 2020 season today.
Marsters, 19, has represented New Zealand at the under 18s level in 2016, graduating to the Junior Kiwis for consecutive years in 2017 and 2018. He also made his senior representative debut playing for the Cook Islands against South Africa in June’s World Cup Qualifying match.
Marsters has been part of the St George Illawarra Dragons and Illawarra Steelers systems throughout his developing years and is the cousin of New Zealand international Esan Marsters.
He has already represented at the international level in both junior and senior football and, at only 19 years of age, we’re looking forward to seeing him further develop his game towards an NRL debut.
