never seen a stokeder player after a game.

...and if he got the chance to run that again and I reckon he would have got there.
Probably was in shock at being in the clear so early in the game.

and yes, Carney is as quick as fug.

And light on his feet.

His reaction was like he didn't even know he was behind him.

He looked very surprise when he got tackled.

yeah

awkward run though. must be due to the injuries he's had.

and yeah..he was suprised. so was just about everyone. some woeful defending by the chooks on that play.

That was one of the best debuts I can remember. Gee he runs hard! FPN hit him a couple of times on kick returns and they probably would have knocked Mills out if he pulled a handbrake! It was great to see him go so hard... He and Wright gives us two very big, strong wingers who can provide great starts to our sets(and so can Gards).

If Mills can keep this up and develop into what we have all hoped for then we look like we could maybe start developing a talented attacking side around Mills, Kelly, Garder. Losing Douglas and Snowden is a massive blow though.

I'd like to see the club go and sign someone like Joel Reddy for the wing and move Mills into the centres. Mills has more potential as a centre then anyone else we have or could likely buy.

I bet John Williams feels a little sick after that debut.

Need to score the tries first... Wright can kick and Porter is normally a very strong kicker nfi what went on with him yesterday.

Also from that article carc this caught my eye;

''First touch of the ball, he ran 80 metres,'' Flanagan said. ''We've got some good kids coming through there. I've just got to make sure I use them at the right time. I don't want to throw young kids in and put too much pressure on them to get us out of the trouble that the senior players have got us into. It's a bit of a balancing act, but there's a few more to come in the year.''

Hey just on SFP - was it him that threw the bullet like cutout pass to Pomm late in the 2nd half?? The one Pomm caught 1 handed - great take from him too.

Yeah DJ, on the replay it looked like he was trying to cut out Pom and get it out to Mills who was unmarked.

Jeez, with comments like that from Flano I hope we are well advanced in locking up our NYC kids.

I hope so - I'd love to see him immortalized as Stewie Farkin Mills.
