Unfortunately I will not be there, at least I stirred the pot at the past one and got DF and Hagan to actually answer some questions that weren't pre-rehearsed. Mr Personality struggled to keep us awake that night.

My Daughter, grandkids etc return home after working and living in London for the past 4 years that morning. so where is the link to ask a question, I will certainly put some forward

Who should I send an email to in relation to next years jerseys ? Who looks after that ?

Just a few notes on last night and for those of you who attended, please feel free to correct me and add on your comments:

About 45 people showed up, in attendance was Roy Spagnola, John Chidiac, Mario Libertini, Ron Hilditch, Andrew Hill, Daniel Anderson, Gareth Holmes, Luke Coleman (Parra Stadium Trust), the girls who work in the footy office and also the action CEO of the Leagues Club.

Only 11 questions were submitted, they ranged from game day operations, to why cant kids access the stadium after the game, the stupid hand rails in the grandstand, the food at the stadium, recruitment, Season Ticket Membership and after that they opened the floor for members to ask questions

I thought it was a very informative meeting and perhaps some things I perhaps weren't aware of

We set the prices regarding entry into the stadium. They will be looking at this as Roy mentioned they need bums on seats. Said that perhaps/maybe they may need to lower the price because they need a higher crowd with a lower ticket price rather a high ticket with less people in the Stadium

Luke Coleman absolutely got smashed not only by some members but when someone asked the question as to why we cant bring fast food into the stadium, Mario Libertini got up and said put the macs in a lunch box container or a plain paper bag and take it in with you. Had to of seen the look on Luke Coleman's face.

Mario Libertini mentioned a Membership package on the one card that will merge your Football Club, Leagues Club, Season Ticket all in one barcode. Also with that card you will get discounts at for example Budget or Europcar rentals, restaurants in the Parra Area, hotels deals and also Banking and Finance sectors.

We have an arrangement with Gemma Catering as the caterers of the Stadium which is in place for a few more years. The question was asked regarding our food prices with other venues and Mr Coleman mentioned the prices of pies and beers at other venues. One member asked why cant the Leagues Club supply the food at the stadium???

We don't have money for Game Day Operations, so we just have pretty much junior league. It's a OH&S issue. A few years back, someone broke their hand from catching a bomb and then obviously the club had to fit the medical bills for that

Kids running onto the stadium wont be happening, another public liability and OH&S issue. Kids running around and someone tackles another kid and they break their leg also then we would have to get more police and security and pay for their services as well.

New Jersey wont be in place next year, the club needs to inform the NRL 18 months out in advance though Hilly mentioned that he is discussing it at the moment

Thanks for that.

45 is a pretty poor turnout and hard to justify the effort in putting it on if thats the level of interest.

I know I'm guilty of baiscally forgetting.

that just about summed it up..

Mario Libertini is an amazing speaker and he's the sort of guy that would inspire anyone to run at bulls..he was forthright, honest and very positive.

by the way..Alan Overton has been appointed our new Co-patron and congratulations for a well deserved appointment.

ok..good question.

the guy who's currently there but I don't know his name, I thought you might known who it is? he's apparently been our patron for many years.

Okay so, our Original Patron was Jack Argent, until his death, then when Billy Rayner left the board he was made patron until his death, from there the leagues club offered the Patrons role to Don Ritchie when he left the board last year, but no news on if Don took up the role.

Also last night, it was mentioned that we are working with the Bulldogs to have Wenty against the Dogs NSW Cup game on the same day as Toyota Cup and nRL

Meaning all three games/grades like the old days for this game

You mean the Bulls don't you Jodeci. Only the Sharks have a NSW cup side that is named the same as the NRL side.

I must say that was a good day the last game of 2008, when we had all 3 grades on a Saturday night, the Bulldogs Vs Wenty game was a cracker.

I'm pretty sure there was someone else other than don but I don't know who it was but than again it may well be Don and Ovo..

Sorry Champ

I meant the Bulls

So the first game would be Bulls vs Wenty, followed by Toyota Cup and then the NRL sides

That membership idea is what we have been looking and waiting for.

Spot on Jake

The barcode number will represent you as to what you have with the club.

They are looking into bringing this effective for 2010 but more then likely 2011

Even if one year you decide not to renew your Season Ticket, you will still kept that same barcode number and if you were to rejoin down the track, you will be given the same number, etc

Barcode number or Membership number with an associated Barcode? I would think a membership number would be the way to go, give you some sort of ranking to when you joined. I believe Souths use it as such.

It would be interesting to see how they sort out membership numbers. What with FC membership numbers and LC membership numbers, then STH Pax numbers. Oh dear.

why a ranking so you can be superior to your lesser number?

I don't know, ask the Rabbitohs they seem to intimate that in their membership ads I have seen at ANZ Stadium.

Personally my Football club membership is much higher than most of those on this forum with I think the exception of Hellsy, yet when Hellsy posted the message about joining the footy club, I know I was signing forms along with others here. I have co-signed forms for people who end up with membership numbers half of mine. I don't really care.

One thing I highlighted to Denis and Ovo at a Melbourne Away game in 2006 I think, was a photo I had taken of Hawthorn supporters at the MCG on the same day. They had membership scarves like us that year. But each of them had a different badge which said, Member (X) years where the duration was the major part of the Badge.
