Browny handles his p*ss better than Fitler, LOL.

Does anyone recon Browny may turn up at the club sometime in the future, in some sort of role? As most have said, you can't fault the blokes love of the club.

If he really loved the club that much he should have voluntarily stepped down from head coach years ago - how many premierships did that cost us???????

Giants eye second spot

Friday 31st July 09
In-form Huddersfield Giants will move above Leeds Rhinos into second place if they can secure a sixth successive win at the expense of Hull FC at the KC Stadium.

Victory would complete a perfect build-up to next week's Carnegie Challenge Cup semi-final against St Helens for coach Nathan Brown.

"Our form is definitely improving," said Brown. "The past two weeks have been two of our better games for a while.

"We'd like to improve again against Hull to go into the Challenge Cup in good form. We said we wanted to use the five weeks leading up to the cup as building blocks to that game.

"We've won five games in a row and are definitely getting better. The best way to prepare for the cup is by playing well in the lead up to it."

The Giants' lofty position has generated much excitement at the Galpharm Stadium but Brown is keen to keep things in modest proportion.

"We're third on the ladder and in the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup but we know that to get to where we want to we've got to keep on improving," he said.

"Building on what we've done is the really important thing for us at the moment.

"If we do end up with the second position, then great, but if we don't and we end up in the top four and playing well, we'll feel very happy."

Yeh he's a hell sh*t coach, bringing an average superleague club to the top.
There were many things that weren't in Brownys favour as coach here.
He has a long career ahead of him, and down the track who knows, he could be something special

a "B" grade coach in a "B" grade comp...
there is a massive difference coaching in the NRL compared to the British super league - as there is playing in the different comps as well.
Brown will learn from this as from a coaching perspective he still has his "L" plates on. maybe in 5 years time he might be ready for an NRL job again, but quite simply he isnt up to NRL standards at the moment.. and having to coach players that he once played aside was a MASSIVE mistake, the dragons tried the same thing in 1989 when craig young retired in 1988 and then coach first grade the following season and it didnt work then either. It hasnt worked for Fittler at the chooks... coaches cant coach former team mates long term it simply doesnt work.

Spot on!

I hope I never see Brown at St George training with a coaches whistle and clip board ever again. Biggest mistake I've seen St George make next to hiring Farrar and letting Josh Morris go
