You're team is not flashy. Compare Manly to the Germans - sure they are efficient but do they have any personality or intriguing qualities? (their porn doesn't count). Aside from your 'superstar' fullback, who provides any entertainment value for money? Watmough certainly doesn't.

Yes and I appreciated their 'excitement' as much as I did the Rabbithos. SUre every now and then they would try something exciting, but more often then not they were a yawn. Tries alone don't equal excitement.

I thought we looked quite good last weekend. Anyway, I would prefer a non flashy team with guts and heart, then a flashy team who go missing at the 1st sign of pressure from the opposition.

Yep we have differing perogatives and I'm happy with that. Personally, considering the NRL is a business and people are paid big dollars to entertain, i prefer a team like the warriors. If i was a manly fan i would be happy whether or not they were flashy, i'm looking purely from a spectative point of view.

Holla - you could be right about the boring bit, but from memory, a lot of judges thought their clash at Brookie earlier this year was high quality.

There'd be plenty of Warriors fans who'd disagree with you;-) . There's plenty of offloads in the Manly team at the moment, and I think they're playing entertaining footy atm. If they dropped a more balls and had more brain explosions like the Warriors I'd find them boring. People just seem to equate playing smart with playing boring.

TBH we played you 3 times that yr. Were 12 up at Telstra at HT and capitulated with Fitzhenry f**king up a thousand times. Won easily at Kogarah (despite St george getting a few late on) and won that Final. Guess we had the game then to trouble st george and especially that Gasnier/Best combo (even in the game at Kogarah) in defence

I have been to every Manly game in Sydney this year including the one at bluetongue, I will be sitting in bay 108 row 17 and to be honest don't give a sh*t who else is there bar my mates and the 2 teams that deserve to be there.
The game is going to go off. I bought my tickets the day they went on sale and would have gone regardless of who played.
The fact that Manly have made it is just a massive dollop of icing on a f**king huge cake.

Your coma inducing percentage football-a-thon (still when a side is choc full of mongoloids like Williamson, King, Catai, Robertson, Lyon and Orford it's to be expected) means the game isn't sold out. In 20 yrs people will still talk about the Tigers in 05 and the style we played. The world will be lucky to be awake 5 minutes after full time on Sunday
