MG says Matt Orford is not the answer for Eels after the former Manly captain asked for an immediate release from English Super League club Bradford.
According to reports in
The Daily Telegraph, the former Manly cap'n has asked for an immediate release to play for the Eels.
"I think the board and behind the scenes is their problem at the moment, not what's going on on the field", says MG.
"They seem to be a ship without a rudder and they need to address that really really soon."
The Daily Telegraph reports Orford is in Australia for shoulder surgery and doesn't want to return to his Yorkshire club in November.
"If I was Bradford, I'd say you can go mate but what I want from Parramatta is two players, I'd want Daniel Mortimer and someone else," says MG.
The Yorkshire club signed the 32 year-old Orford on a three year deal last year and says it doesn't want to lose him but also doesn't want to keep an unhappy player.
Bulls chief executive Ryan Duckett told the
BBC Website: "Nothing has changed. He remains contracted for another two years."
Triple M's The Cage Marto says it's effing wrong if you sign a contract and ask fans to believe in you and then renegade on that to come back to Australia.
