sorry mate didnt see your post.I guess that was my point but worded better
Rogers wasn't suspended for his grapple and neither will Cronk for his "grapple".
I am pretty indifferent when it comes to the Storm as a team, and the egotistical Storm supporters annoy the f**k out of me too... but when it comes down to it, I'd rather listen to them than the boring old anti-Storm brigades :sleeper:
Everyone on these boards always tries to downplay the bias by adding some form of final statement 'get the grappling out of our game' or 'for the good of the game' which I do certainly agree with... but it's not just the Storm using these tactics, as a lot of people would have you believe. EVERY player who does it should be punished.
18-6 sook.Rogers wasn't suspended for his grapple and neither will Cronk for his "grapple".
everyone grapples.
but grapples happen every game by every team...too keep singling the storm out is f**king stupid.
my thoughts as well. both commentators joked about it being like a sleeper hold...real fckin funny boys! I couldn't believe they larfed it off as basically anything goes if you're trying to stop a try!!...definitely needs to come under more scrutiny by the judiciary.Since when is it okay to grapple when the player is attempting to score a try? That's what I thought brandy was saying at the time. Am I mistaken? Did I mishear him?
Still? They never stopped. It's just more prevalent when they're losing ;-)If the NRL are serious about getting rid of grappling and illegal wrestling holds from our game then there should be at least half a dozen Storm players facing charges this week. For mine nothing has changed from them, especially Blair and Lima. I made the point of watching their tackles in the second half and nearly every one had a supposed illegal wrestling hold be it a grapple, chicken wing, crusher or the calf pressure thing. You could see the GC players blowing up in the tackles.
Cmon NRL get serious and get this crap out of our game
