I'm proud to announce that I'll be supporting the @Wests_Tigers for their 2015 campaign. I'm grateful & excited for the opportunity ahead.

Very interesting. JT also stated that facilities weren't that important. I agree with this. More gym equipment doesn't necessarily help.

I also don't think that there is a guru out there that can stop injuries occurring so it will be interesting how we go next year and following on from that with regards to injuries.

He mighn't be able to stop injuries but I'm sure he can help prevent them by conditioning the team better, also managing injured players much better.

You're right to an extent. Gym gear will only get you so far, but we have had severely under-qualified folks in the department for too long and this has a flow on to how easily injuries are sustained, conditioning to minimise rehabilitation from injuries and recurrence of the same injuries.

We will never not have injuries. It's a contact sport and players will get hurt. But when you've had a huge injury list and f**ked rehab times on injuries (discounting obvious freak injuries like Teddy's kneecap etc,) coinciding with a woeful S&C department it's not hard to draw the conclusion based purely on obvious correlation. Occam's razor.

I don't want to take to bagging Skando (as I'm sure he did the best he could given his limited ability and training and who wouldn't like to work for the club they've given their whole career to after they've retired,) but the lack of professionalism in the S&C department has put us well behind most other clubs in terms of training, rehabilitation and conditioning.

I reckon Taylor mentioned the importance of the gym equipment to dismiss any excuses players/staff put to him about this seasons pathetic ending.

Hahah don't get ahead of yourself. Apparently Fulton is our new recruitment guru, at least going to carnivals, schoolboy dos etc. Dunno where this leaves old fans favourite Ronald but Twitter has been abuzz with some of Ronald's star signings - Lolesi, Harris, Cayless, Peter Lewis, Danny Galea. Ronald will probably get the sideways shunt to Catering Manager and Skando will become IT manager cos he knocked over a TAFE course on his Commodore 64

If we are going to do jobs for the boys this is the way to do it. Send them out on a wild goose chase so they can't f**k up what is actually important.
