Hopefully Greg Willett can save Sully from the ESL. My fingers are definitely crossed! :D

he should just do some modeling....that's how I made my fortune.

Actually, he probably should really consider doing that. He could easily work it in with his footy, and a few years ago he was approached by a Melbourne modelling agency but turned down their offer.

That's the best news I have heard all day. Hope they can work something out. Maybe if every Sharks fan donated $10 to the cause we could help ease his financial burdon. We could have a Sully telethon to keep him here. If the Sharks paid out his debts they should be trying to hang onto him so they can get their money back. If he goes to England there is no guarantee of that.

NO WAY!

There's no way in the wide world I would donate money to a gambler trying to reform. Especially one who earns $150k or thereabouts a year!

There are many MANY MANY far better causes that would get a tenner off me!

All good stuff. Well I hope we do sign him then. I only get to see 2 NRL games per week and they are selected for us. Saying that agents seeing to be using our name quite a bit at the minute due to the money we have to spend next year. So it could be a bit of a smoke screen.

Sullivan if he wants to be cured needs to stay.

And if he does go to the Wire, we should stipulate in a contract where he plays ESL but still has to serve 2 years with us in the NRL should he want to return.

That sounds fair to me Tama. Especially as the club is bending over backwards for him.

So you want us to give a conditional release only. There might be merit in that but not that way.

The condition should simply be like the one on Jamie Lyons. He can't play NRL football AGAINST us for the term of the Wires contract should they see fit to release him. Which I doubt they would.

It's all too bitter anyway, I thought it was about helping him not putting cuffs on him.

I didn't mean choose his ESL club mate!

And what's with Warrington these days, they seem like a genuine threat to the big four. Plus, how is Nat Wood going?

shoots out of the line far too much for my liking leaving us exposed.

A lot comes down to our new stadium which has increased revenue streams therefore giving us a bigger salary cap allowance for next year. In terms of this year the addition of Martin Gleeson** Logan and an injury free Lee briers is allowing us to play to our potential at last.

Nat Wood is a cracking player for attacking the line with pace and being aggresive however his ball distribution is what is letting him down. He tends not to pass and throw a dummy in stead meaning our left flank is starved. He has played some of his best football for us this year and if it wasn't for his age and the aforementioned flaw in his game he would be a shoe in for another year.

I think this year we many win one of (maybe two) our semi's but that is it. Next year with the addition of Rauhihi and a scrum half we will be a team to be watched. It all bodes well for the Wire at the minute.

** This guy has been instrumental though. He basically tells our halves exactly what he wants in training and on the field. It comes off more or less all the time.

Nice to see teams like ourselves and Hull FC working our way towards finals to make the comp as a whole a lot more competitive than it has been over recent years.

I think he will go. More money and more game time plus a new life. I don't want him to go but he should do what's best for him.I just wish he wasn't in this mess in the first place, but it is his own doing.
