Drinkwater is one of the blokes who is too good to be stuck in NSW Cup but can't convert it into an NRL spot. Super League is a good place for him.

It's no surprise that replacing Luke Walsh with Drinkwater has improved Catalans results. Walsh was rubbish even at his peak.

Leeds the only club against changing the current competition structure, a tad ironic that they're now in danger of relegation.
Obviously that would be disastrous for the competition, I fully expect them to announce 14 clubs and no relegation this year

If ... and it’s a big if ... the bottom 4 SL clubs are relegated, it could take 4 years before being promoted again. It could take a lot longer actually.

That'll create a normal, 13 home,13 away plus magic game,27 round season

If Leeds go anywhere near the Magic Weekend they'll do this..
If it's Widnes or Salford out for Toronto it will stay as is.

Huddersfield picking up another win and Catalans a draw means Wakefield v Leeds tomorrow is absolutely crucial for both clubs.
If Leeds drop this they are all but guaranteed to be stuck in the bottom 4.
Wakefield are currently 3 points clear of Leeds but a loss puts them right back in the danger zone.

Catalans and Huddersfield need to pick up a single point from their final 2 games to be safe.

How that Wakefield last try couldn't get overturned was ridiculous and shows the major flaw in with going to the video ref with a flip of a coin.
