Don't know how May didn't get a yellow card for a professional foul at the end of the first? Grabbing the ball to stop a play the ball when he wasn't involved in the completed tackle. That was as blatant as it gets.
Solid game so far otherwise.

Solid, not inspiring. Warrington looked dangerous on that left edge I thought, expect to see more of that in the second half.
The poor bloody Poms though, for years we have bagged them out for their (non) play-the-ball`s and they finally get it together and here we are over here where payers don`t even try to use their foot anymore. World`s gone mad.
Really taken to the wrestle though haven`t they. Unsightly, but they are going to need that if they are going to compete with us unfortunately.

Missed conversions was all that was in it in the end. It is so paramount to have a top line kicker in the modern game. Some great defence from both teams. Both teams a little off in attack at times too. Tai for Warrington, man, one of the lowest football IQ's in a big game I've ever seen. He wasn't the only player to cost them opportunities, but he made several critical errors. Typical Wolves ending really.
Robins into GF. Exciting times.

Joe Burgess practically admitting he didn't score and then backtracking to an 'I don't know' to make not look as bad. That's gotta hurt Wolves fans. I'd be seething if Wigan lost like that.
He was taking the piss, there’s no way at full speed he would know if he was over the line or not. End of day ref called it, no video replay showed he didn’t get it down, fair try.

what goes around Comes around, we lost the LLS on a BS yellow card that gifted wigan the game and title.

Stoked to be up 18-0 at half time. Feel like it could have been more but can't complain. Hopefully we go on with it from here.

And the GF is set. Hull KR gunning for their first Super League Championship. Wigan looking to go back to back and be the first team to do the quadruple in a calendar year.

Noted during the coverage by that lovely Aussie lass that covers the sideline that 10 000 tickets had been sold since Hull KR`s triumph over Warrington the night before and that for the first time in a long time the top deck of Old Trafford had been opened up for the Super League GF.
Absolute bumper crowd expected.
C`mon Aussie League fans tune in and give the game`s viewing numbers a boost from the other side of the world. All these things are going to count in our (and theirs) next TV broadcast deal.

Well done Wigan, dominant performance.
Team 1v2 as it should be. Hope it’s a belter and we get to see a new name on the Superleague trophy! Feels like everyone expect Hull FC and Wigan fans are going to be honorary Robins for the day!

Some good numbers for the SL finals. Biggest ever tv audience for a play off game, third biggest playoff crowd at Wigan with 20,500 in attendance. Final is tracking well for one of the biggest attendances with HKR selling their first allocation of 10k in just a day!

'The epic clash between Warrington Wolves and St Helens attracted the highest television attendance in Super League play-off history. The contest was won by the Wolves in Golden Point in what was arguably the game of the season.
And it attracted a huge audience, with 385,000 watching the game across BBC and Sky Sports, the highest figure since the play-offs were introduced in 1998. It easily topped the previous figure set for a play-off game in 2022 when Salford took on St Helens, which was watched by 330,000. That game was also shown on free-to-air television by Channel 4. The peak figure was also a record, with over 500,000 watching at the same time.'
