I’ve moved to a 2 day a week roster at home... More days an option if I want them..

I just worry about the smaller businesses out there.. I’ve started offsetting the savings I make on travel costs with buying lunch from the businesses around the office when I do go into work..
Yep, definitely making an effort to spend at small businesses.

As I work on commission, it's going to be a lean 2-3 months. I had one safari in April that has postponed, none in May (already low season), and it looks like most of my June trips could get postponed/canceled.

Doing some side hustles (freelance writing) and using this time to focus on hobbies etc. Thank God we're somewhere cheap, as I wouldn't be able to stretch my savings quite as far if I were in Australia, China, or the US.

I'm very glad I got into the public service when I did. Can work from home and if that becomes impossible the APS has been told to use special leave, not our sick or annual leave
Yup this is where we need federal, state and local governments to keep full employment & invest.

Meh at least the footy is still on.

Just will most likely be umployed for awhile longer. Been knocked back for newstart and apparently im to educated to do standard shitkicking roles.

It's not much, but supermarkets in most places are looking for workers if you can do that? I've heard nightfill positions are available most stores at the moment.

Would at least keep a little cash coming in. I was a retail manager for a decade, would be happy to make up a reference if needed.

Yeah got 10 different applicatiins in here, mostly nightfill and few years storeman/warehouse and outlet experience i should be prime for it. But they will go to complete and utter dropkicks

Any call center gigs in your area? It's pretty solid work and I imagine tech support etc. will need more people with everybody being home.
