Australians are proving that they can't be trusted to do the right thing by themselves.

The government should be enforcing a shutdown, not gently suggesting it.

If we'd been really aggressive and called a lock in at the same time NZ did we would see serious benefits. In a month a comparison of the infection rates will be strong justification for the stance they've taken.

Slovaks next door are having a house party ffs.

Did my best keeping my distance today but the amount of people that see you and actually change their trajectory to make sure they are in your space is astonighing. Same spastics that plant their loud ass family at the table right next to you at hungry jacks instead of the other dozen free tables or still sit within 3 seats of you even though the cinema is 90% empty.

I may have panick bought today but i have enough packs of the man shakes and lures/soft baits to last me awhile. Even then ill throw a cast out in a nice secluded and some asian will ignore the other whole kilometre of sand and plonk himself right next to me

I went for a fish yesterday and discovered that the fish are also in self-isolation. Deadset...

GC seaway is buzzing, hopefully the rain pisses off.

Left my snorkel gear in nz, some smoked mussells would go good at the moment

Hello

Have I missed much?

Isolation is giving me cabin fever.

I'm one of those weird people who loves this.

No need to make up an excuse why I can't go out to dinner with some people we hardly know. No pressure to go out and explore Tbilisi.

Just glorious time for video games, movies, sleep, and working on my novel.

I don’t mind it per se, but it’s hard with four kids.

I also need a new video console or something.

Not sure you can ever say Canberra's fishing is buzzing tbh. Lol

But it's also not often you fish four hours, go through spinnerbaits, plastics, vibes and minnows, and don't even get a nudge.

I'm kind of in between. I enjoy time to myself and all that, but I also like having the options. And I feel claustrophobic very quickly in the same place, I like to get out by myself rather than be indoors by myself.

My bro has been based in canberra since mid last year. Invested $750 in a fishing kayak and is probably 0/20 so far with the only fish being brought home being caught by the spaniel on the banks.

Loaded up on plastics and softbaits, wasnt too keen om paying $70 for a yabby pump just yet

I'm all over the redfin down here and do get quite big ones. Best would be in the 40cm range, which is large. Molix Nanojigs are the killer there, especially if you can get out on LBG in a kayak. But they eat anything which is why it's so weird to fish so long without even a reddie.

I usually get quite regular yellowbelly too. They like the Nanojigs or Jackall TN60 vibes. And any medium diving minnow in black brains them. I haven't got many lately though.

Still trying to get a Canberra cod.
