Coral Trout are right up there

When I lived in Darwin the fish and chip shops sold Barra like it was flake. The Barra we get down here now is mainly from Barra farms and its just not the same as wild caught Barra

Each to their own I guess, barra is fairly overrated. I like when I catch them, they are bled straight away & put in a brine which is a big factor to keep the fillet at its best. I won’t buy barra down here

Have you tried Golden Snapper (Fingermark)? It’s up there with the best I’ve eaten, they pull like trains as well!

Doing bedtime tonight with the kids..

Managed not to see a basketball lying on the ground.

Stepped on it, flew up in the air and landed ass cheek first on the solid wooden corner of mini-muzby’s bed.

I may have invented a new swear word.

Give me a few days and I reckon I’ll have a new shade of purple to add to the colour wheel too.

Holy shit I’m in pain :(

Singing aye yai yippie yippie yai!

And for those keeping up to date (no pun intended) on the progress of my bum, the bruise on my cheek so far makes Queensland’s jersey look pastel pink in comparison.
