Bowlers f**ked me today. Had the other merkins 2/2 in their chase, then they decided that a short ball every over was the way to go. I think I hooked all of them once and they just kept giving these blokes short balls to hit for four.

I got 65.

Probs knocked us out of finals. Real shitty. Have got just shy of 400 runs and 15 catches in the ten games we've got between wash outs and Covid, so at least I know the merkins have let me down not the other way round. No one else has over 200!

Missed finals. But the boys fought stupid hard and I'm proud I could get that out of them.

Plus I got more than enough to get over the 400 run mark in a season where we lost 8 games to the rain. Unless the next best dude got like 160 today I'll top the grade for runs. And for fielding. And with 5 players player votes from 12 games I'm a shot there too.

I'm calling that a decent season
