That's kinda messed up :S

she's got four siblings and I know her mum, she would not be put for adoption. Yesterday she told me that she was my least favourite of all her siblings. She also often complains about how in love with me her little brother is (her little brother is SOOOOOOOOO cute)

the kids at school get stranger and stranger every day and many of them are too attached to me.

There is this group of year four boys who come into the library just about every morning tea and lunch time and they are brats. Sometimes they s even say "we've come to annoy you, miss" so I ask them why and they say "because you don't want to be our teacher".

Their real teacher is on maternity leave and they keep harassing me that I should be their teacher right now and asking me "why don't you want to be our teacher?" I tell them I'm not qualified, but they insist on harassing me with the same nonsense.

There are also some high school kids who sincerely tell me they love me, something I find odd, but am getting used to and a range of people who come past and don't know how to leave

I have only ever heard it being called a tuck shop by Queenslanders. I was going to say in Queensland, but I did have a Queenslander friend in high school who called it that

the school I work at actually calls it assembly, but there are a bunch of kids there who came from different schools and they all call it parade. Unfortunately, these are the kids who want to spend "parade" time in the library

there are a bunch of kids at school who aren't actually New Zealander (I think most of them are Somali, born there, moved to Kiwiland then here), but whose families spent a few years in New Zealand and they try to say that New Zealand is better than Australia, I always respond to that sort of nonsense with "well, why don't you go back there?"
