It will be the end of my parents marriage sooner rather than later. My dad is bi-polar and refuses to get treatment. It's also a large part of the reason I didn't speak to him for years.

That's really sad

Unfortunately, when they are on their medication they feel totally fine and so the illness tricks them into thinking 'I don't need the medication'. They get off, then the swings come about and things go haywire.

They get back on, swings stop and life returns to normality. Rinse, repeat.

Horrible disease. I hope your dad has a change of mind.
