I'm pretty lucky.

The house I live in my dad and his wife bought it before we moved in.

So we have an unlimited lease and no increase in rent anytime soon.

Only problem is their financial advisor told them to still go through a real estate for tax purposes so we still have to put up with the bullshit from them.

If you have a trusted cousin or uncle, get them to set up an ABN as a RE agent.

Conduct all the business through there, and then you won't have the mess.

She's a pretty laid back kid by and large - so hopefully she'll cope ok with the move.

Even if she doesn't, meh. It is what it is kiddo!

When I put myself down I get yelled at. When Rhino does it he gets a laugh :(

He hasn't got image issues. You do. And we don't yell at you; we're trying to identify that you have a destructive view of your body that isn't true.

I get why you have it; family and previous partners can be really bad in this field. My wife suffers from it and she's quite intelligent and well adjusted so it happens to us all (her mother / ex is the cause) but its often not good to let it fester.

By not saying anything, we allow your image to worsen as we're reinforcing what your saying by not pulling you up on it. Same with my wife - I pull her up on it every time she says it.

You need a licence to register am RE business bro

Most Cornflakes boxes have them :sarcasm:

Moving with young kids is a pain in the arse.

When we first moved out we didn't have kids.

Next move son was 6 weeks old so wasn't too bad. Wife just couldn't do too much because she had to feed him.

Then moved again on his first birthday and it wasn't too bad. Dad and his wife were up so they helped alot.

Then the last move daughter was only 4 months old and son was coming up to 3 years old. That was difficult.

Although it helped that my brother in law owned his own truck by then so we had everything moved in one trip pretty much.

The worst part is every time we move we have more and more shit in the house.

We use it as an excuse to purge. We have less crap than when we first got married. It helps, but I imagine with a kid, we'll begin the great 'accumulation' as all parents do...

Yes. Yes you will.

And don't they like to f**king remind you of it !!

As if the act of conception isn't hard too. I mean who does all the work in bed ?

She's not too bad about it all. Truth be told I have a much clearer memory of it than she does. It was a looooong couple of days.

Shit.

All 3 labours for us add up to less then that.

Good. Good. Good. Although a silver lining was that given she was so long in dilation and crowning steadily the end result was no tearing. Tip top!

A woman I knew went in 45 minutes. She said what you save in time you make up for with pain. Not sure what's better - longer and less pain, or quick and mind numbing pain

I'm getting it now, believe it or not. I have a feeling it is something to get used to.

Exactly what do you get to do?! I mean, do you get to eat, or have a nap?! 26 hours is a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time...

That is a good point.

Epidural, epidural and more epidurals. Honestly, giving birth now days is made much less painful thanks to the wonders of such medicine. Plug it into the epiduric space and the pace is literally numbed within seconds. When I got my chest wall reconstructed I was on 8ml an h/r (1.5x that of a mother in labor).

Massage for back labour, hanging out with her in a big bath, general motivation and support - also worked with the midwives in deciding what our next move/method would be. Not much time to eat either since she isn't allowed to

True - complications are a possibility though.

So you don't eat... how'd you go for 26 hours on an empty stomach?

Did she at least let you go have a whizz?

My Aunty went through a 18 or 19 labor. They pretty much told her go sit in a bath with her head out and just do her best to relax and take it easy.
