To the dads out there; how did you deal with the whole 'Your wife is in agony giving birth to your child' bit.

Like, I know that's what is meant to happen; its the way its designed etc. But I find it hard to cope with the idea my wife, whom I desperately love, will have to endure this.

Its difficult.

The way i got through it was thinking about the end result. Helped a bit until the wifes screaming blocked it out.

Also, hope that is a quick labour. (whilst the pain is intense apparently it is over a lot quicker.)

Can ultrasounds detect whether it has a soul or not?

That could be in a couple of months. My knee is utterly f*cked atm. Hit a tree skiing a few years ago and since then the bone and cartilage has worn out to near nothing.

Seriously, can-not wait for the "official" NFL season to start. Bloody hell, I'm seriously pumped. Going to be great watching the Ravens come out on the back of that Superbowl win and see how we fair in our conference.
