As someone with a lot of Scottish heritage I can tell you its full of killing Poms, Romans, Irish, French and Vikings.

Mad as f**k.

Many of whom were rounded up and sent to Australia as criminals because they were born in Scotland.

Pretty awesome stuff.

My ancestors have several castles in Scotland. Might see if I can squire one.

My dads dad was a Welsh tail gunner on a Lancaster and my mums dad was a Scottish Hurricane pilot. Both survived being shot down in WWII and immigrated to Australia at wars end and married English women who did the same.

Apart from having a Scottish name I can trace back Australian ancestry on both sides to just about settlement.
