Mark met Sue while they worked at Kingsgrove Sports Store. There's a lot more to the story than I can remember, but basically Mark and she had an affair (she was 34 with hubby and 3 kids, he was 21) that blew up. Apparently she kissed the hubby off one day as he left for work. He got halfway to work, realised he'd forgotten something then returned home about 20 minutes later to find Mark in bed with Sue.

They never married for a very specific reason (I can't remember why) and it is also part of the reason why they split after his career ended so quickly.

My mum and dad, who know Harry Solomons reasonably well, had all the story as Mark spent a lot of time in Kingsgrove due to the sports store. The full story of it never really got published and has only floated about verbally too.

Catho Hill Bay pub for lunch. Works burger and a couple of dark beers. Just what the doctor ordered (well, actually, he didn't, but I'm sure he would have). Time for a nana nap now.

3.5 hours till beer o'clock for me. Still don't know what to do for lunch? Nandos?
