I'm sure it's tough times for her at the moment but we go through a lot of pain in our lives for not much gain at times. In fact sometimes we go through pain just to have a loss at the end.

They have maintained a pretty good friendship, but still manage to bash each other to anyone that will listen. My Mum had to quit her job because she took on my niece full time because her parents are fkd in the head. She was doing ok, but then her and her partner split, and now she is pretty much homeless. She has been staying with my sister along with my niece and my little brother has been staying with a friend. My Dad said my bro visited him the other day and when he left, he had an epiphany. He said that his son should have a home to go back to, not have to crash on a friends couch, so he called my Mum and they decided to do it.

Trouble is, they are the complete opposite of one another. My Dad is a neat freak, with too much common sense for his own good and my Mum probably one of the biggest hoarders/slobs with no common sense whatsoever. I am my fathers daughter, so I can see how this is going to end up. I love that he wants to help her, and they are good intentions, I just feel like they split for a reason, they shouldn't be living with each other 13yrs after the fact. And GROSS, they will probably get drunk and ... can't even go there. YUK.
