Mrs and kids have been away for 3 days

House clean, kids meals done for weekend, washing done and folded, flowers on the table

Where do I go to accept my husband of the year award?

you can pick it up when that becomes a common occurrence ;-)

While the local Simplot plant will sadly lose all its vegetable production, apart from corn, the iconic Chiko roll is safe and will continue to be made in Bathurst.

The deep fried treat was designed to be easily eaten on the run and comes in a trademark bag.
This year the humble Chiko was the subject of a nationwide Save the Chiko Roll campaign. It may have even worked.
At the peak of its popularity in the 1960s and 1970s, 40 million Chiko rolls were sold annually in Australia, earning it the title of Australian cultural icon.
Soula Aspros, who owns the Carillon Fish Shop in George Street, has been serving Chiko rolls to the hungry masses for the past 40 years.
Mrs Aspros said there was a time when the Chiko roll was very popular, then it fell out of favour for a while, but is now enjoying renewed popularity.
“People really like them,” she said.
Her daughter Martha said when the Save the Chiko Roll campaign was at its peak they were inundated with requests.
Some people were ordering up to eight or nine at a time.

Mrs Aspros said in their heyday people tended to buy a Chiko for their lunch, after school, or after sporting matches.
The Simplot Board, who made the decision to keep the Chiko, is based in the United States. Mrs Aspros thought the Chiko roll might just take off overseas.
“We should send them some samples,” she said. “I think they might like them.”

Mums cousin passed away this morning. Really hits home every time another family member dies from complications due to diabetes(this time was renal failure). I know I can look after myself as best as possible but at the end of the day it's really only going to save me a few years at best.

/depresso mode.

Which brings me to a question... If you only think about something for a nanosecond, can it actually even be considered as a thought at all?

I say yes. Even though the thought only happened for an infinitesimal amount of time, before it was dismissed, it still definitely happened.

Truth be told, I was a little disappointed. I had serious romantic interest in the girl, so to have her throw herself at me so obviously was a pleasant surprise and, at the same time, a bit of a let down.

Does that even make sense?

get to go home today for the first time in a month. Since i was last not in Bilo my mum has had her ghoul bladder removed and my dad has had a knee recon, probably should head down to the GC and spend some time with them. Been getting about 4-5 hours sleep staying late and drilling this project home for the last fortnight so im happy just collapsing on the couch and only waking up to watch the world cup games

It does

As bad as it sounds, men don't think serious relationship when a woman is too easy to bed. Makes us wonder how many blokes in the immediate 10 km radius she's blown and that is not a thought you want to have about a possible Mrs insertnamehere

Still, easy sex! *high five*

That's basically it. I don't want a woman to be as pure as the driven snow, and I'm well aware that women have appetites and histories. I'm not phased by that.

But when I've got genuine romantic interest in a girl, her giving up the first kiss and the first f**k in such a cavalier way make me think there's probably not a romantic future in the offing.

I'm okay to be f**k buddies, but it's not what I'd had in mind

True that. My best relationship to date - the 'one that should have been the one' - was a girl I met drunk on a Saturday night who woke me up with a blowie and had to break up with her boyfriend the following day.

We were together for two very good, supportive, fun years.
