My friend and her hubby moved up there a few months back. I owe them a lot. And I miss them like crazy.

Parramatta, the most inept club in the world.

PARRAMATTA'S search for a new coach has been thrown into turmoil after the board overruled chairman Steve Sharp's push for Manly assistant Brad Arthur to get the job.

The Daily Telegraph understands Sharp was out-voted 4-2 at a marathon meeting, with the majority in favour of Roosters assistant Jason Taylor.

Another board meeting could be convened as soon as today to finalise the appointment.

Taylor now appears to be the overwhelming favourite because he enjoys majority support.

But the split will create tension for the successful candidate because they will be appointed without the full support of the six-man board.

Current Eels players have thrown their support behind Arthur, while former greats such as Nathan Hindmarsh and Nathan Cayless believe Taylor is the man for the job.

Sounds like we should just throw our own NYE party. :lol:

I hate it though. I always have such high hopes for the night and I always have a shit time. Except for last year. Last year I had no plans till about 7pm. Had a great night.

Agreed. The microbrew pub one block from my house gets frequent visits. It is quite good.

NYE = night in with a small bunch of mates. Going out on NYE is for people under 23 or mentally ill shut ins.

I always just do house parties, used to be at my place due to location. Something always went wrong.

One year a guy sprayed my black cat with deodorant to the point that she turned white. After a call to an emergency vet I spent most of the night rincing out her eyes so she didn't go blind.

Another year we lost our screen door. Literally. Woke up in the morning and it wasn't anywhere to be found.

My exs best mate smashed our brand new tv off the etu.

Same guy rode his bike up the street after the fireworks. 2 compound fractures. Both wrists.

Got to the point where I wouldn't drink more than a glass of wine cos I was so worried about what would happen.

I spend NYE the same way every year. Expensive wine, cigar, and music or movies.
