Actually didn't. Since diving is creeping into the NRL, you could have legit been talking about either. I initially thought you were talking about the same sport the rest of the conversation was about, before I realised you might/probably mean soccer.

I was just pointing out another example of something that is mostly allowed by the laws of the game and is used by clubs to their advantage that I also find repulsive.

That period you speak of mate was probably a SL hangover of sorts. The game went to shit in so many areas (on/off the field) in that time that it was natural some teams were gonna be ultra shit. Wests and NQ in 1999 and into 2000 (NQ) were utterly atrocious. Im talking make parra 2013 look like premiers woeful. Tbh it's a f**king miracle NQ maintained a team, i reckon anywhere else with a team that was that shit for 10 years would have folded.

God we were shit.
