Love the fact that people that hung shit on me for going to Super 15 games have now put up Facebook posts about the Tahs winning.

In order to make the top 8 we've got to beat the Raiders twice and the Knights.

We've been pretty shit over the last few years but we have to be able to do that.

Depends which week it is. If you get us like this, you'll be fine.

If you get us like we were against Sydney, you'll be in trouble.

Do you feel lucky, punk? Well, do ya?

Hard to believe I'm finishing up my final weekend in China.

Never planned to be here for as long as I have, and there's been times that I've hated it, but it's been home for longer than any one place in Australia has - and my 2.5 years here is the longest I've ever been in the one workplace.

Where are you going now?

I have always found the best and most influential experiences of life have been ones that I did not plan for .
I think it's the best way to really take hold of opportunities

Good for you!

Good for you!

I'm headed back to Oz for 6-8 months to recharge, catch up with the people I've been neglecting since early 2012, write, work on my fitness, and generally get myself re-energized.

Thinking Vietnam or Turkey in 2015.

Good for you .

I would like to be more mobile .I guess in a way I am since my children are now all over the world and my work potential is everywhere .

Maybe I will take some inspiration from you and begin looking at relocating for awhile.

Why do you think Aus holds nothing for you in the medium term btw?

Feels like, to me at least, I need to work forty largely joyless hours a week in Australia just to afford the privilege of living there.

When I've been in South Korea or China, even if I have worked 40 hours (as I did in my first year in Korea), I had the disposable income to travel, to eat out, to party, and to buy things I wanted.

I've not really got the qualifications or the drive to attain them to achieve that in Australia. I'm already suitably qualified and experienced at teaching, so it's just a more appealing lifestyle for me.

Add to that the fact I have infinitely more luck dating abroad (probably because I'm a tad more exotic than I would be at home) and abroad I've had opportunities to do things like events management, write a sitcom for Chinese television, and other weirdness - it's just a much more enjoyable and varied life.

Where do you want to die / retire?
