It's pretty surreal thinking of the Melbourne Storm and not automatically thinking "invincible world beaters". This year they range somewhere between slightly below average and slightly above average depending on the week...like most of the comp. It's like a few years ago when Brisbane went from perennial top 4 contenders to just another team that sometimes makes the 8 and sometimes doesn't.

Just one superpower left, Manly. And I think they're in the sunset of their dominance as well.

I've only got the results of 5 teams below 50% right. 42.86% of my Eels tips have been right. So they are the statistical anomaly compared to the bulk of my tips. So they're due for a correction. It's safe to put your house on them today.

If that still worries you, my most successful teams have been the Sharks and Panthers and I've got them both 85% right. They play each other today. My tip for that game is a lock.

True. But it's not like any other teams have really staked any outstanding claims yet either. Every team in the comp has had a good game or two and then some other games where they've looked bog average.

It's an even comp this year. Anyone could take it out.
