To which I replied:

You wrote that you have met RL players in the past (which could be anything from Guyra Supa Spuds players to professionals) and that you met some as a photographer, a claim to which I cannot argue as I do not know the background.

I can speak from having played it for several years, run the supporters group for an NRL team (Newcastle) over the course of a year (and remaining a member in it for a further three beyond that), and having attended games since 2004.

I'm sorry if I feel being directly involved in the sport qualifies me to have an opinion on it despite not having taken photos of people playing it.
