At $3 a beer and $3.5 a spirit it went off and with the time difference the telecast started at 4pm. Let me just say Bangla Rd after dark reminder me of the scene from the inbetweeners movie where the lads walk down the nightclub strip for the first time.

That sounds awesome.

I watched the game in a smoky sports bar here in Nanjing. Only about a dozen people in attendance, but the beer was ice cold and the place was a wall of noise between myself, my Paki friend, a PNG girl, and the Tennessee raised bar owner roaring for NSW.

Thinking of heading back as a single man next year. If my contract had been renewed, it would have been my Chinese New Year treat for myself.

I'm officially connected to the NBN. The guy that came from Optus to set it up was about 7 foot tall. BM is an intimidating sort of fellow but this bloke looked even scarier. Then the internet wouldn't connect so he had to call his supervisor and was put on hold for 30 minutes. He went back into his car while he waited and I was glad for that.

But the important thing is after that short delay BM is back online again. I hope you guys didn't miss me too much.
