Ah. Missed that.

They're delusional.

As for Hayne, I reckon if Hayne was fit and medically cleared, he should have played - but he wouldn't have made an ounce of difference.

I can understand him not playing but not even traveling over with the team he captains is piss weak

Apparently Arthur told him to stay home and rest.

But I think he should have played - we pay him his money, and he works, primarily, for the Eels. As long as he was fit, he needed to play IMO - even more so considering he's our captain and we had lost two in a row.

Hayne has struggled backing up from Origin in the past hasn't he? Even got injured a couple of times? What's the point risking him in this match when you could lose him for multiple matches instead. I thought it was a conservative, but smart, move from Arthur. After Souths you have three must win matches against teams lower than you that you need Hayne for

We have a horrendous record away vs the Titans, not confident about that one at all, even with today's result.

It's quite odd really when you consider that especially over the past two times we've played up here it's been a majority Parra crowd. Last year the crowd was about 60% in our favour, which is also a pretty bad indictment on the Titans.

Here's one for El Diablo

One of the first articles on Ian Thorpe today taking a sneaky punch at NRL

When league player Ian Roberts declared himself gay nearly 20 years ago, it instantly reduced the voltage of sting on the cruellest schoolyard epithet of the lot, “yer a twinkie.”

Despite this happening last night, which they reported on a few hours later

As Geelong AFL player Harry Taylor was carried on the shoulders of his teammates for his 150th game on Saturday night, he farewelled the crowd with a royal wave.
"I am up here getting ready for the game and I’ve just seen that crap from Harry - he’s a big twinkie," Channel Seven commentator Brian Taylor said.

The upcoming games wouldn't necessarily be must-win had we competed against the Warriors and won - and when Hayne plays, this team grows in confidence and ability.

All reports say Hayne was cleared to play - it's just that Arthur decided to rest him.

We had better compete against Souths, or he will end up looking like a right fool IMO.
